Once upon a time, I wrote film and TV reviews for Hypable. Over the years since, I like to imagine that my reviewing style and criteria have improved somewhat. In 2021, I had the good fortune of joining the team of reviewers at the Hugo-winning blog Nerds of a Feather, where you can read my opinions on today’s science fiction.
I repost all my book reviews on Goodreads and BookWyrm, and my film reviews on Letterboxd.
Thanks to the space I’ve had at Nerds of a Feather, I was longlisted for the Best Fan Writer Hugo in 2022, and nominated for Best Fanzine in 2023. Some days I wish I had a time machine to blow 14-year-old me’s mind.
